We’re your neighbors
Sausalitans for a Thriving Waterfront is a grassroots campaign started by a group of Sausalito residents who love this town and believe our waterfront deserves a future worthy of its past.
We're not professional campaigners. We're your neighbors, volunteering our time because we care deeply about the place we call home. We rolled up our sleeves because no one else was addressing the root cause of why parts of our waterfront are deteriorating, our infrastructure is crumbling, and our working waterfront has struggled to adapt to the needs of today.
We believe outdated rules adopted in 1985 are preventing our waterfront from evolving to meet today's challenges. AIM gives Sausalito the opportunity to preserve everything we love while creating a path to repair aging infrastructure, support artists and makers, strengthen maritime and industrial businesses, improve environmental resilience, and ensure our working waterfront can thrive for generations to come.
Our volunteer team includes longtime community leaders, business owners, planners, artists, and residents from the next generation who have the most at stake. Together, we bring decades of civic experience, local knowledge, and a shared commitment to building a stronger, more resilient waterfront for future generations.
Our core team includes:
